This module deals with Islamic Economy as a science. It studies Consumerism from Islamic point of view, production, its elements, producer’s behavior and its political financial outcomes. It deals also with Zakat System; its rulings in Islamic Jurisprudence, the role of reasoning in developing this system and the inclusion of Zakat in the state’s financial system. Also, it deals with The Central Bank, its financial policy and its role in an interest-based economy, Islamic banks and evaluating their performance. This module aims to help in mounting a new theory for economic development and the role of the State in Islamic Economy.
